The G. E. Van Wert Co. has been in business for over 57 years. Started in 1948 by George Edward Van Wert. It was a small rep business which sold rotating unions, air cylinders and other assorted machine products. Jim Snow and Richard Pearsall purchased G.E. Van Wert Co. Inc. from George in 1969. Since then, they have built a thriving distribution and rep business specializing in Inspection, Measuring and Machine Tool Accessories. Although business has changed over the years, G.E. Van Wert Co., Inc. has remained constant in offering high quality products and an attention to service and customer satisfaction that is unsurpassed in the industry.
Eric Pearsall, President
2022 marks the beginning of Eric Pearsall’s 34 th year with the GE Van Wert Co., Inc. Eric joined the company in 1988 after graduating with honors from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He began as the Office Manager, moved into inside sales then to Sales Manager in 2008. Upon the retirement of the business founders, Jim Snow and Richard Pearsall , Eric became sole owner and President. Eric provides a vast knowledge of his product base and possesses the unique ability to run all of the equipment he sells. This, along with his easy nature and quick wit, provides his customers with an enjoyable experience.
